Dear list,

DOes anyone have any kombucha or kambucha puppies, its a fungus that you

grow and drink every day/ It has many curative properties and it is always

given free.

Boy, I haven't heard of kombucha for years now. The only thing I recall is

the importance of keeping the container as sterile as possible or the whole

thing will go bad. I had a friend get very ill when his went south on him

(you drink the tea, and it makes a " baby " that you can give away to someone

else as a starter).

 

I remember people claiming it was a cancer retardant. Haven't heard much

about it lately. People are still growing them? They look like big white

jellyfish.

Hello, I'm new to the list...

 

My understanding of the kombucha is that it's not a mushroom or fungus at

all, but a big blob of bacteria by-product (waste). Am I nuts?
