[Significance of hives]

I was wondering if anyone here knows what the emotional/spiritual

significance of hives is? They came out of nowhere with no apparent cause;

I've been unable to identify any change in my environment at the time they

appeared, although life has been really stressful for the last month and a

half. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My experience with hives was caused by emotional stress - as per the drs. I

was seeing at the time. this was 15 or 20 years ago. of course they tried to

cure the hives with anti-depressants. finally a psychologist advised me that

if I could get out whatever it was I was 'stuffing' I would probably quit

having hives. I did, both, with no antidepressants. my problems were related

to being unable to tell my truth re: my feelings. This is not meant to explain

everyone's hives - just my experience.
