Guest guest
I was wondering if anyone here knows what the emotional/spiritual significance of hives is? They came out of nowhere with no apparent cause; I've been unable to identify any change in my environment at the time they appeared, although life has been really stressful for the last month and a half. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Bon Johnston bonfire

I often get rashes when I'm stressed out! Ick. Angie
Guest guest
Bonnie- I don't know exactly where the stress in your life is originating, but I once got a case of hives that lasted for 4 months and FORCED me to leave a job (that I really didn't like anyway). Louise Hay, in _You Can Heal Your Life_, say that hives can represent " small hidden fears. Making mountains out of molehills. " A mantra or meditation to use would be " I bring peace to every corner of my life. " For my hives/rash to go away, I had to separate myself from a situation/environment when I knew (in my heart) that I needed to move on. The position and money were good, so my mind told me to stay, but my spirit *made* me go. That's my opinion of what happened, anyway. Hives can also be a sign of allergies, esp. food allergies, so you may want to see a doc, too. My doctors had no idea where my skin condition came from or what it was caused by. Only by making the necessary changes in my life did my skin finally become clear again. I hope this helps, although our situations are no doubt, quite different. Let us know how you are doing.
