Chakras, channeling, higher-self

Hi.

Just pondering here.

Which chakras need to be clear and active for one to channel an entity and would

this be the same as being in touch with the higher self. Would it be the third

eye or crown for either or both and could an entity come through both the higher

self and/or third eye or other chakra?

Many people will tell you that your guides are aspects of yourself,

some sort of psychological superego, like your conscience. From my

personal experiences in shamanism and energy work, I don't believe

that.

 

You don't have to have *any* clear chakras to channel an entity,

actually. Spirit attachments can occur on any level and for many

reasons. I would suppose that if you are interested in communicating

with an avatar, it would be better if you were spiritually clear (like

you suggested, third eye or crown) but if you are not particular, you

can pick up a spirit anywhere <LOL>

 

The problem with channelling spirits is, of course, that you are

subletting your body like a summer rental to unknown energies and

spirits, and you can never be totally certain of their motivations or

intentions. In addition, it is energetically taxing to the channel,

and disorienting, since often the channelled entity behaves as a

" walk-in " and the channel has to have a " keeper " to make sure they are

not totally exhausted during channelling sessions. And once you have

weakened your natural boundaries by accepting this sort of

relationship, it is hard to be sure other spirits will not take

advantage of it. You cannot really be sure that the spirits are even

who they claim to be... if you were disembodied, and wanted to be in a

body, you'd probably say you were Djwal Kul or the Archangel Michael

to get in there, wouldn't you? <G>

 

I have found it is better if I communicate with my guides without

" taking them on " ... only my power animal spirits are allowed to do

that, and even then, only under serious, controlled circumstances.
