Guest guest
anyone heard of this? i have a new client coming to see me who has this diagnosis. her main symptom/complaint (near as i can tell from our short phone conversation) is loss of muscle tone. she has been doing acupunture and found it somewhat helpful, but thinks massage will be more beneficial. is this client's ability to provide accurate feedback going to be limited by the disease? or is this another one of those vague " myositis " type diagnoses? any info would be helpful. (and yes, i tried looking it up, but couldn't find anything germaine to dis-ease itself - although i certainly found lots of definitions of motor neurons - which i already knew.) thanks in advance, --greta (ambivalent about state licensing in tax-a-chusetts)

Has she been seen by a competent medical doctor, esp. a neurologist. Muscle wasting is prevalent in several diseases, AIDS and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. Don't touch her until you know what she is suffering from. b
