I don't know, but would guess that the effect of any drug depends on

one's state of mind, environment, experience and attitude at the time of

taking it. ??? If I'd taken acid at any age below 30, I'd probably have

run screaming into the hills as I didn't know which way was up at the

best of times.

 

Is a hallucinogen intrinsically bad? It's powerful, and I'm well aware

that bad trips can be very bad indeed. But I've had some astonishing

highs on nothing more than Elgar, or vivid colour. (Don't mean to sound

pretentious, but ...)

 

I am curious, but not convinced.

 

If anyone wants to say more off list, I'd be grateful.
