For what it's worth, Alain, I used to work with a fella named Ray Gougeon, and having grown up in Canada, French names don't cross MY eyes any. In fact, the part of Nova Scotia where I currently live is very close to what is referred to as 'the French Shore', where names like Comeau, Saulnier, Thimot, Thibeault, Thibodeau, Gaudet, Melanson (originally spelled Melancon with that little doohickey under the 'c' to denote the 's' sound), and about a third of my clientele are Acadian. au 'voir la monstre-mama Christina Barrett, Massage Therapist, Mum to 3 (homeschooling 2), and general lunatic-in-residence.
