Marti,

Just for curiosities sake, if your sister had such good luck with

Glucosamine, why would you try something different?

I've long heard Glucosamine, along with Chondroitin, is the main thing that

does all the good. I'm using Glucosamine on a joint of an animal to rebuild

it. It is working like a charm.

I agree with your assessment of the blood pressure medication causing

problems. If anyone can read the side effects of these drugs and still want

to take them, they must want to die.

Jean, I don't want to try anything different and I did use it myself.

I started using it because of my sister's success with it. It's just

that the Nutritionist I was supposed to work with said it was causing my

blood sugar to elevate and since I had to get the blood sugar down quickly

I had to stop taking it.

Right at the moment I'm not taking any of the medication the doctor

gave me and I want to do an internal cleansing before giving up and going

back on Glucatrol. I was diagnosed as diabetic 8 years ago and until

this year have been able to keep it in control without medication.

If there is anything that will help normalize me so I don't have to

take any prescriptions I want to do it.

The problem is, that as with every treatment, it's not a one size fits all!!

Some people don't get the results with glucosamine and/or chondroiten that they

desire/need, so they may need other herbs, EFA's, etc..

The Doctor that I drew the wrath of Doc by relaying some of his advice, travels

to Australia alot, and he has some herbs like lemon myrtle, that are native to

that area, and supposedly help the other herbs/supplements in his formula

relieve pain, and rebuild!

they behave themselves.
