Guest guest
Are the MD's using clotbusting drugs on this paralyzed girl? If you do work with her, I suggest you work closely with MD's. The application of blood moving poultices and liniments may be a good way to introduce blood movers without going via the digestion. Springwind.com has poultices for severe trauma. Even liniments can cause drugs interactions if patient is taking clotbusters or blood thinners, so start mild. This is a really tough case, but this may the girl's only hope. So if you think its over your head, than maybe another local herbalist could take the case. But it should be tackled by someone, especially as the mother is game. I have not treated such a case myself, nor have I seen one in the literature.
Guest guest
OK - here is the story.... My friend's son, who is now in his early teens, had a tumor when 11 months.. they had to operate to remove it - sometime in recovery, he suffered a stroke, which left the left side paralyzed. He now has use of left side but not the left hand. Oh yes, for a long time he had seizures after the surgery, which finally cleared up. Anyway, is there anything that can bring back use of his hand. I told my friend if anyone would know of something this group would. Suzi Make international calls for as low as $0.04/minute with Messenger. Guest guest
I would look for a very experienced and knowledgeable acupuncturist and get his/her opinion on this. From my experiences with acupuncture I really think this could help. May not cure the problem, but could help make a difference, and maybe used in conjunction with herbal remedies too. keep us posted, namaste, Cathy herbal remedies, Suzanne Nottmeier <suziesgoats> wrote: > > OK - here is the story.... > > My friend's son, who is now in his early teens, had a tumor when 11 months.. they had to operate to remove it - sometime in recovery, he suffered a stroke, which left the left side paralyzed. Guest guest
This may sound a bit off the wall, but it's worth a try. Make sure there is lots of Baroque Classical music in the boy's environment. And no Heavy Metal or Rap at all. The music of Bach in particular appears to provide a template for nerve system rebuilding. We know that most stroke victims who have recovered, have done so essentially by accomplishing some sort of unconscious process of rewiring the brain. Actually playing a musical instrument may help. The vibrations of music coming from the instrument into the body are very soothing. An ancient instrument which is not well-known, called the psaltry, can be played with one hand. Also i know a source for rebuilt autoharps which are very easy to play with one hand.
