Guest guest
The August, 2001 issue of Alternatives has come up with the grandson of an African Shaman that had a secretive formula for asthma, but now has been 'exposed " by the grandson as Yamoa powder, which is now available in 30-day supplies, with the results usually seen in a week to 10 days. The results are all anecdotal, but there are tests being done to determine how effective this remedy is. The results may be seen in a week or so, but it is suggested that you finish the 30 day supply, with a few rare instances needing 2-3 mos. to be rectified. Another remedy is called Xlear (clear), made with the same bacteria fighting sweetener as the sugar-free gums found at health food stores, Xyletol. A couple of sprays up each nostril several times per day helps with allergies, and supposed asthmatic reactions to offending " organisms " . This can be used to help eliminate the need for asthma medications! E-mail me (off group) if interested in more info, or to order, and I will give you the appropriate addresses. Guest guest
Sorry, just trying to open avenues for the ones involved, to investigate, and for anyone else who's interested, to research. Point taken, Steve ----------------------------- Errrrrr, Steve. Have you tried any of these products yourself or administered any of them to a patient or friend???? If not, this kind of post is OP = Off Policy as you are openning up a thread not based on personal experience or having personally tested the procedure. This opens the door to false data being introduced to the list, and I certainly don't have time to chase down all these 'remedies' to verify their effectiveness. I have my own agenda for the next 2 years and unless a post is placed on the list which runs parallel to my own research, I never side track off of it (emeregencies excepted). There are existing Naturopathic remedies for asthma in the files which are very thorough and effective, and the following kind of post simply adds confusion to the already tried and true solutions which already exist. If you wish to do your own personal research in this area and then publish your findings to the list after you have thoroughly and personally tested for results and workability, then your paper would be welcome. Other than that, please refrain from posting these kinds of messages.
