Guest guest
I'm not a homeopath, and I'm vague on the totality of it, but I thought that the idea of homeopathy was to hypersensitize your body to the (or an) offending substance to help your body " heal " itself, which is handling the cause, and the symptoms. In Health, Steve ----------------------------- Hmmmmm, just because it is old does not necessarily mean that it is true or overall good in the long run. Remember, we gave up blood letting at the end of the 19th Century. One of my problems with this 'metal' technology 'and' homeopathy is that too often the focus is on the symptom rather than the cause. For this reason I don't regard Homeopathy as a true Naturopathic science though perhaps at one time it may have been. See individual answers below to your statements. The idea is that the water takes on the vibration of the substance, and the body recognises the vibrational imprint, and sets up a natural reaction to it, and that reaction heals both the cause and the symptoms. For example, a homeopathic remedy of an onion, which has no actual onion left in it but has an imprint of it, would be useful for symptoms of hayfever. The body says, uh oh, onion, and sets up a reaction to neutralise the effect of the onion- and in so doing, neutralises the symptoms the onion would cause- watering eyes, sniffles- same as hayfever- and so the hayfever is gone- because the bodies own energies set up a reaction which balanced itself. I am being simplistic, but I dont believe homeopathy only treats symptoms, and there is a lot of documented evidence of homeopathy curing many diseases and epidemics which allopathic medicine has not had success with. If you study the philosophy of homeopathy, I think you would see it is quite logical- and has plenty of documented evidence to back it up. it is very respected by many doctors and used in hospitals in Europe. If it works, and does no harm, I dont think it should be discreditied just because science hasnt progressed to the level of being able to understand it yet. love peela ===== May the long time sun shine upon you, all love suround you, and the pure light within you guide your way on.
