hi all

 

hope you're all doing well. I'm doing my best to keep up with the list and

learn all these neat things, but of course i am in the process of reading

through about 500 back emails

 

Anyways, a few questions before i forget.

 

First of all, does anyone know of particularly good supplements for

stabilizing hypertension. They must be safe to take with Synthroid. Unless

you can recommend any alternatives to synthroid

 

Another question, I have found a bunch of resources finally that have contact

information for alternative docs in my area. The only reason im hesitating is

because i don't know how to find a good one-- is there anyone from Long

Island, NY that knows of a great ND or herbalist? If not, does anyone have

tips on how to find a good one when i dont know of anyone that uses one.

 

And finally... I am seriously considering going into alternative medicine.

I'm not sure whether to go for naturopathy, herbalism, reiki, or what but i

noticed that there are a lot of you on the list that are learning right now.

If any of you can email me privately i'd love to pick your brain to help me

decide.

As Doc would suggest, find the problem, don't look for a band-aid. With that

said, you can try garlic, and cayenne; I don't know of any contraindications,

but I would suggest considering dumping synthroid for natural thyroid known as

Armour, though it comes from pigs, it is safer and more natural (and the lesser

of two evils - as Doc acceptedly agreed on). Did you have your thyroid zapped,

or removed?

 

As far as an alternative practitioner, ACAM is a good source on the web, which,

like any refferal service, is not gonna tell you the best Dr., but will give you

some names for you to research.

 

I'm sure that there are other suggestions, but you need to give more info, so I
