Guest guest
Hello group, I was curious if anyone could share any insight on using natural methods to work with kidney stones & ADD (two different people). I am only in my mid-20's, but have the worst case of chronic (and very painful) kidney stones that any urologist has ever seen. I have had 6 or 7 surgeries, 4 in the past year alone. The medical community has no solution for me, beyond toxic medications that had horrible side effects and were offered without even being able to tell me whether they would work or not. I live life in chronic pain and have had a single stone for nearly 11 months. After three surgeries I still have it and am in enormous pain each day. It has disrupted my life, made holding a full time job impossible and has greatly affected my mood. Also, is there anyone that has any experience with treating ADD and depression herbally? This is actually not for me, but a dear friend that has both of these issues and is reluctant to take the chemical solutions due to their obvious side effects. I welcome your insights and replies. With respect, Osundiya
Guest guest
For kidney stones, corn silk has been hailed as a near miracle. Just infuse it as you would any herbal tea and drink about 1 pint throughout the day. As far as I know this can be done without side effects for as long as is necessary. There is a product on the market that can be bought at Health Food Stores that is called A.D.D. I can't remember what the letters stand for, but it is nourishment for the neural fabric of the system. My granddaughter was on it for one summer, and it helped her more than the 3 years she had been on the medication, plus it ended her migraine headaches. After that summer, she hasn't taken any kind of supplement or medication. Guest guest
do you grow Radishes And have a way of juicing them? I read an article about a Dr that had a knife with a handle made of kidney stones. He was using said knife to clean radishes and got called away leaving the knife handle in the radishes. To make along story short the handle dissolved from the juice of the radishes so it won't hurt to try it. Maybe Dr Ian can recommend how much to drink a day and when would be best. -- Pat 7D-Ranch Where the snow has melted and the goats are free. Were the new Katahdin lambs are loved by all. Guest guest
Thank you all so much for your replies. It is appreciated. Can you tell me if you know where I can buy the herbal A.D.D. online? Is there anyone that can recommend herbal preparation we can prepare here at home? For ADD or Kidney Stones? Thanks again!

It is someone I know. They are hesitant to mess with Western medicines, as the side effects seem dreadful and don't even guarantee much help in the end. Do you have any herbal suggestions? > PS. The case I'm dealing with is one that has all of the doctor's puzzled - very severe, very quick stone formation, very large stones, nearly impossible to break/pass, etc. I am outside of the " normal " age range for this and have been dealing with this since my early teen years. I have tried various herbal formulas to dissolve the stones, and had minimal results, at best. I am working toward stone prevention at this point. Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks!!!! Guest guest
Yes, the conventional drug treatments for ADD are terrible, and ought to be outlawed if anything in medicine is made illegal. Some people have had good results with an herbal extract called Pycnogenal, which is generally provided by multilevel companies at this time. As for the kidney stone problem, the fact that it's chronic leads me to believe that a full Ayurvedic body type analysis would be in order. I suspect there's some genetic factor that may be causing this. Olive oil has been reputed to prevent kidney stone formation, but there's no way to study that. You can't cook with olive oil at high temperatures, so it's best to use that on salads. Sesame oil might be good to use instead of any other oil for high temperature cooking. When someone is chronically getting these despite all treatments, problems with fat metabolism would seem to be present. These two oils are easier to metabolize than the usual corn, canola, and soy oils so prominent in junk foods.
