Anyone know of something to use as a mouse repellant to keep them from coming in

the apartment? we have gaps around our heating pipes, so i think that's where

they're coming in.......on the other hand, the cats always catch them. 7 down so

far. We don't want to tell the landlord b/c of extermination and the chemicals.

We don't care if the building has mice, we just don't want our cats to catch

tapeworm. one of mine had it when i found her as a stray.

thanks!

Peppermint is supposed to repel mice. One year I had mice so bad they were

chewing on my hand made soaps, especially the ones with oatmeal in them. I put

peppermint leaves around the bottom of the curing rack and a bar or two of

peppermint soap on each shelf. That took care of the problem. Good luck.

It's not herbal, but the varying frequencies of the plug-in pest repellers are

supposed to work on mice (along with other things), yet be safe for pets!

Try stuffing the holes with steel wool scouring pads. Keeps them from getting

in. My aunt swears by this. Of course, it only works when you can get to

their entrance...

Mine say safe for cats, dogs, fish, birds; it doesn't say if that list is all

inclusive! But you could call the company at 1-888-353-6835.

Does anyone know if the plug in pest repellers will get rid of mice, but not

hurt pet rabbits? We have 2 dwarf rabbits and a few unwanted animals (mice) in

our house as well. I love animals but the mice need to be outside.
