Guest guest
Hello all! OK, so I am looking for some ideas and help. My husband is 29 and is what he thinks of as fairly healthy. But yet I listen to the various complaints (he is the type that could go to a dr. hacking up a lung and say "I am feeling just fine"...). Anyway, he now says he wants to get healthier, and has no aversions to the natural side- in fact in recent years he prefers it. But right now he is not working, so we cannot afford to send him in to the ND for a complete workup. So, I am trying to help him as best I can. I will just list various stuff about him and that is going on. And feel free to toss me ideas!! Thanks so much! -he is about 5'10" and 200 lbs -has had seasonal allergies his whole life -has winter asthma (mild) -has BM's several times a day that are always very "soft" -seems to be very sensitive to beef (gives him gas and makes him go to the bathroom even more often) -was thought to be ADD, but finally 2 yrs ago was diagnosed as bi-polar. he takes a B-complex by Ecologocal formulas and also takes an herbal/vitamin combo by Source Naturals called "Positive thoughts"- and it has done wonders for his moods!!! -tends to get signs of a yeast infection often His diet is improving, but not great. He does eat meat and has a fair amount of dairy and sugar in his diet. He has cut back foods with sugar to only maybe 2 to 3 times per week, and has cut his dairy to less than once a day. He eats some veggies, but not alot. is this enough info to get started? keep in mind that it will have to be gradual changes for him... Sindeadriving Washington nuts since 1991...
