Guest guest
Hi All, Here are a few KIM (the Omega ratio calculator software package) helpful hints; 1) Do food selections and deletions from the Food Group menu, then go to the Meal menu and hit update as there seems to be a calculation bug when in the Food Group menu. 2) The New Choice buttons allow sorts for max 3 > 6 on both long & short Omegas. In addition the drop down box in the upper left allows you to selects Work Sheet Copy which supplies the full food name and allows sorts by each Omega category independently. 3) You have 15 worksheets to use and save results to. Use the Daily Menus scroll buttons to select which you wish to use. 4) The data base appears to have every food item from the USDA SR13. 5) The software was developed by the Laboratory of Membrane Biophysics and Biochemistry, DICBR, National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism as there seems to be a tie-in between the 6: 3 ratio, depression & alcohol abuse.
