This book also mentions using it as a tea to do so. There have been attacks on this herb, which by my experience with it, I believe to be unfounded. If one is worried about any possible liver toxicity, one can take Milk Thistle extract at the same time to prevent this possibility. Milk Thistle extract is known to even cure liver poisoning from deadly " toadstools " with remarkable success.
