Guest guest
Hi everyone! I'm new here and this might not be the best way to start my tenure on this list but here goes.... I'm a 25 year old vegan and I don't engage in protests of this sort. I don't protest against stores that sell furs or stores selling Duck meat (tho I do believe there's a special karmic torture set aside for duck killers- my totem animal!). Why? Supply and Demand. If people don't want it, no one will sell it. I prefer to write letters encouraging such companies to sell things I, and other health conscious consumers would be interested in. Back to my intro lol... Ever since I stopped eating dairy, I've had problems with my menstrual cycle (menhorragia). After unnecessary surgery which did nothing but rule out endometriosis and give an intern practice on her stitching (and she needed it!), I just listened to my body and the answer came- This was detox. For 21 years my body had been pumped full of dairy hormones, and 16 years worth of meat hormones. This was my body resetting itself. I had wonderful results with Rosemary Gladstar's " Floodgate Tea " to help balance my body and am on the way to recovery. Now if I could only go raw.... Anyway, that's me and my story. xoxoxoxoxo Beth
Guest guest
I think the idea of the boycott/leaflet distribution was to open the eyes of the ignorant masses that shop there, and might not even know what rBgh and GMO mean; the problem is that the majority of patrons probably could give a ratsass! In Health, Steve ----------------------------- Errrrrrr, by " raw " I'm assuming you mean " foods " (blush) ;o) (LOL) And don't worry about the protests, we get into the positive side and suggest alternatives as well.
