Guest guest
Hi - I am just starting to tincture some of my herbs - and I have borage in my garden. Does anyone know - do I tincture fresh cut parts of the plant - flowers and leaves - or do I have to dry them first. I have looked in several of my books - and it is not clear to me. I am taking an herb class right now, and will also ask my teacher, but if someone could help me out with this, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance. Guest guest
Carlin, Tell us exactly what you did with the lemon egg and TT? I would let your rosemary sit awhile - the alcohol will age it and make it better. You can try some now if you want... I used fresh young rosemary from my garden, not dried. Anyhoo, after everyones TT has been turning green, I wondered if this should be turning green so quickly? My TT turned green also, and my lemon egg exploded in the fridge. YUK! What did I do wrong there? I did put the lid on, but not at all tight. Should you leave it open mouthed in the fridge? Also, if it (rosemary) is so green now and smelling very rosemary do I have to wait the 6 weeks for it to be done? Thanks!Carlin Platinum - Watch CBS' NCAA March Madness, live on your desktop!
