Guest guest
I'm new to the interent, and also this group...but would like to find out if anyone knows of any herbal remedies that have helped MS paitients? My mother has MS, and is in SEVERE pain all the time. She is on all kinds of RX's and I just hate to see what she is going through. I know there is nothing that can probably help stop the progression of the disease, but if there is just something that she could do for the pain in her arms, legs, neck shoulders etc. She can't even sleep at night because of the pain. I would appreciate any input. Thanks - Mimi Thank You - Merilee Join zwallet.com today and start earning money!! Guest guest
Hi Mimi, I recently heard an interview with a man who has MS who has written a book. Basically he says you can definitely stop it in its tracks- stop any progression of the disease- and one of the big things I remember is to stop dairy products completely. 100%. That was the main thing I remember, and I know theres a lot of information out there about it- such as statistics about the MS rates being higher in dairy belts etc. I have heard a lot of bits and pieces but cant give you the scientific data, but its out there and worth investigating- i certainly would. I imagine the fatty acids would be very important too, I am sure someone else here can fill you in with more solid info. good luck Peela --- hilde715 <hilde715 wrote: > I'm new to the interent, and also this group...but > would like to find out if anyone knows of any herbal > remedies that have helped MS paitients? Guest guest
Hi Mimi, I am no doctor but I do research a lot of things as time permits and what I have found to be most true overall is that to me it appears most disease and disorders if followed back to the cellulare level can all be traced somewhere to toxicity of one kind or another. Just like we have been talking about the mercury fillings causing all kinds of health problems (me included). I am sure Doc Ian would agree with me that a good approach is to remove the toxins and chemicals from your home and then your body...eating organic foods, balancing your nutrition to suit your needs, and doing the total body cleanse to the letter. Once we find ourselves in a physical and emotional rut we need to just start over and learn a better way to live. I pray all the time as well.... It takes time Mimi and I hope your mother can overcome her illness but she has to be willing to make the commitment to a big change in lifestyle. Also you can call your local agricultural dept and ask them for a list of organic farmers in your area. I did and get wonderful foods from him weekly. Trader Joes is a good place to get some organic foods as is Whole Foods. You may look for a CO-OP in your area as well.
