That means any and all sources of sugar. Honey. Fructose. Sucanat. Turbinado

Sugar. Brown Sugar. Dextrose. Maltose. If it is a *kind* of sugar, it would

be included in the list. Stevia herb powder is a very good substitute for

sugar - it is extremely sweet so you only need about 1/8 teaspoon or less --

beware of the packets though -- first, they often contain a *sugar*

(maltodextrin, etc.) and second, they are more expensive in the long run. If

you must have the convenience of packets, make your own by folding paper into

a little packet around it. Otherwise, a little " salt " spoon carried with a

plastic jar of stevia works really well, if you need sweetener in your

beverages wherever you go.
