Guest guest
" Something " went wrong with my last message, and I don't know what it said. Something like: I did a search on thyroid and came up with several things, but I was hoping, Ian, that you could mention anything specific that you feel would be good to get a thyroid going properly?????? I've been reading quite a bit about this in various places today, but I would love your input. Also, is Armour a prescription drug? I can't believe I would want to take it because it comes from a pig, but my friend might be interested. Thanks, Valerie
Guest guest
Armour is the " natural " (yes from a pig, like other glandulars are bovine in origin) thyroid vs. the alternative that some people have been facing of taking " synthroid " , the synthetic version (that, as with most synthetics, can present a plethora of side effects), hence is the better of the two (or lesser of two evils, as you may qualify it!). Steve ps - Armour (I believe) is as in the company Armour Star. ----------------------------- Iodine from kelp; Organic Spirulina and Chlorella from Hawaii; Organic Garlic, MSM and DMSO are all good for the Thyroid. Specific herbs which do wonders for the thyroid are: Mullein & Lobelia Love, Doc PS. Never heard of Armour but if it comes from a pig, I'm not interested. Never yet heard of an herb walking around on four legs ;o) Ian " Doc " Shillington N.D. 505-772-5889 Dr.IanShillington - rainbow_33434 herbal remedies Friday, June 15, 2001 12:51 PM [herbal remedies] Thyroid (IAN?)
