Guest guest
First I would like to introduce myself & thank Dr. Shillington for creating this wonderful & informative group, Herbal Remedies. I found this group about a week ago while seeking sites & support to further learn & become more responsible for self-managing my health. When I found this group I joined on immediately! Since then, I've been a human sponge trying to take in all the good info shared & to learn from the people here ( & of course online & in books too). Thanks also to everyone that takes the time to post & lend support here.. your actions are most certainly appreciated. Now, to explain my situation.. I started looking into natural/herbal remedies about a year ago after finally admitting to myself that the doctors I've been trusting & relying on all along for help with asthma, allergies & sinus problems just aren't able to slay this dragon once & for all. I've had sinus surgery twice now & last fall, was informed that a 3rd was required to remove new polyps that had developed & are blocking one side of my face. After having undergone the knife 2x's already I felt quite hesitant to submit to it again & started seeking natural remedies. The first two natural remedies I came upon were garlic & onion. I began taking garlic oil capsules immediately while also including alot of fresh onion & garlic in my daily diet. It seemed to work quite well throughout the winter, in fact it seemed to be just the trick.. right up until about 2 weeks ago. About 2wks ago, I began to become quite congested again, the garlic & onion no longer seem enough. The secretions are yellow too, so I've no doubt that an infection has developed. I've added to my remedy 1000mg Vitamin C - 2x a day, upped my Garlic capsules to 6 a day (the capsules are 50mg, the latest purchase also contains Cayenne Pepper @ 100mg which I understand should be helpful too) & have begun drinking an herb tea containing Echinacea & Green Tea. Still I am miserable & feel no relief at all. What am I overlooking? Is it even possible to be cured of this probable infection naturally? I could really use some guidance here as I am trying so hard to get my body back on track naturally & feel that resorting to a doctor for antibiotics is NOT the best solution available. I appreciate you taking the time to read this post & welcome any input or support provided. Thanks for everything! Rita
Guest guest
Dear Rita, I have heard, you need to check this out, that polyps are a sign of some sort of parasite. I think I read that in Hulda Clark's book, " A cure for all diseases. " Also, have you tried the old european remedy of putting hydrogen peroxide in your ears and allowing to bubble for a long time, and then draining it out? Some on this list have tried it for sinus troubles, and found the bubble time to be very long. Repeated applications may be in order. Guest guest
Dear Rita, Most definitely, you can change this for the better and handle it naturally. Of course I'd recommend a full body cleanse, to achieve a permanent healing, but to experience immediate relief, I'd recommend a garlic suppository as well as 8 to 10 cloves of fresh ORGANIC garlic taken daily by cutting them in half and dipping in olive oil and then swallowed like a pill. Next would be 2 dropperfuls 3 times a day of a top quality Echinacea. Lastly would be a half hours worth of exercise (rebounding is best) followed by a half hour hot bath (as hot as you can stand it) just before bed. Make sure you drink 4 to 6 cups of hot herbal tea while in the tub. The idea here is to turn on a false fever as for every degree your body temperature rises, your white blood cell speed doubles. At 104 degrees (false fever) the speed of your white blood cells is 64 times its normal speed and these are the guys that'll knock off infections etc. One of your problems is that in the past you've had one too many colds suppressed by pharmaceuticals and it's gotten into the allergy, asthma end of the cycle. Your echinacea must be top quality (best if you make it yourself), (check the files). Hope this helps.
