Guest guest
hi all, hope everyone is well...my younger sister just received back an abnormal pap smear and her doctor determined the cause was ASCUS or atypical squamous cells of undetermined signifigance...she is 20 yrs old...she is a little freaked out by this and is asking me for some advice about what she should be eating, doing, etc. i don't know much about this but from what i've been reading, diet can be an issue in these types of cellular changes. does anyone have any experience with this? what kinds of things can she be doing, eating supplements she could be taking, etc. now to help the situation while she waits the suggested three months to have another pap smear. from what i gather, the reason why her doctor is going to wait three months is to see if the abnormality clears up on its own. i understand this but i'm not real comfortable with it, since it doesn't incorporate my sister changing any unhealthy habits...she's got a typical unhealthy american diet, full of sweets and empty foods so i'm sure that's got a lot to do with whatever's going on...any help would be much appreciated! thanks a bunch! in consciousness, leah
Guest guest
I would suggest all of DOC's cleanses and suggestions, and would add that Wheat Grass Juice, an excellent source of chlorophyl, and other wonderful nutrients, is beyond great in aiding the body in rebuilding and cleansing. The best thing to do is buy your own wheat grass grinder, buy the sheets to grow the grass, and make your own, as it oxydizes very quickly so anything on a store shelf at a Health food Store would be less potent.
