Guest guest
Good Morning All, I used to save everything I ever got my hands on to " show " people so they would believe me when I told them I read something. But my boxes got real heavy over the years, so I tossed it all out. Since I have been online the only things I save are recipes and directions I need to make things. I forward on a good piece of info right on the spot, eliminating my need for saving it. Things are beginning to collect again only this time I am enjoying it. Unfortunately when the subject of skin tags came up here, I didn't have anything to " back up " my disagreement to there not being any information on skin tabs on the net other than hormonal, and skin tabs being relatively normal. I didn't want folks thinking that because they couldn't find anything or they hadn't seen anything, that skin tags were relatively harmless. Well skin tags are relatively harmless, but what they are saying by being there is not. I had to do a little mini search to gather a few tidbits. Trying to stay away from the conventional medicine sites where they say, of course, they are harmless, or cause unknown. (although they are at least saying there IS/MAY be a cause)I feel it is important that folks know they have a tell tale, outward sign of something going wrong. I realize that we have as a society been brainwashed to believe that things happening to our bodies, such as skin tags, are " normal " with age. But skin tags aren't any more normal than deabilitating arthitis and becoming crippled with old age is. Cutting skin tags off isn't the answer, anymore than cutting out the tonsils is. Skin tags are never cancerous, and " can " be cut off safely if care is given to guard against infection and scarring, IF what you have is a skin tag, AND you know how to properly cut one off. But out of sight, out of mind is bad preventative medicine. I used to cut my father's skin tags off of his neck when I was a young kid. He had many, and they were uncomfortable for him, so he had me cut them off. He also had warts and many moles, which I was taught were normal to have. And I would give almost anything to know then what I know now. My dad had a very heavy sugar intake. He was hypoglycemic at that time. He passed away three years ago with pancreatic cancer. Off the subject a bit...some folks think it's " normal " to have only one bowel movement a day. In fact, when people call me and one of the questions I ask is how are your bowel movements and they say " normal " I have to ask what " normal " is. And I have had answers like once a week, " Well " , they say, " That's " normal " for me. AND MEDICAL DR'S HAVE TOLD THEM IT IS NORMAL FOR THEM!!! I mean that's real serious stuff. It is my opinion that skin tags can be a sign of a few things, and their not responding to Chromium can also be a sign. It is also my opinion that if your immune system is shot, there is VERY little chance that you do not have Candida. Whether we have disease due to parasites, bad diet, inherited weakness, or envirnmental polutions, Candida as a rule, should be ruled out as A culprit in our immune supressed bodies. Maybe Doc can put a little Candida quiz in his files to help us rule out Candida? It's a tough one to diagnose, even with " live " cultures. As for the skin tabs, and there " uuummm " , not being any info out there, I grabbed a few little tid bits that I hope helps clear up some confusion instead of making it worse, and helps some people look further into some possible answers for vitality and health. Every- body deserves to be well. With the contraversy, I wanted to at least show something once I threw this out there. It's just a small compiled list and I am sorry about that, but I am short of time these days, and it's late. I sincerely hope this helps spark interest to find out more....... http://rampages.onramp.net/~dcraigh/skintags.html http://www.inciid.org/bb18/message18/2337.htm Treatment for skin tags: Chromium is an essential part of the GTF molecule. GTF stands for glucose tolerance factor. GTF is an important cofactor for insulin in the regulation of blood sugar that is necessary for proper metabolism. Scientists believe that insulin uses chromium as an assistant (technically, a cofactor) to " unlock the door " to the cell membrane, thus allowing glucose to enter the cell. Nitricum Acidum has a broad range of symptoms. Indicated for skin ailments, such as warts, skin tags, wens. Pain or itching in old scars. Skin ulcers. Discoloration and spots on skin. Indicated in various respiratory concerns. Excess mucous, scratchy throat worse after using voice. Has to clear throat continually. Worse when needing to speak, or from dry weather. Dry cough on lying down to bed. Wheezing respiration, shortness of breath. Loss of breath and palpitation of heart on going up stairs. Shooting stitches in chest. Sore throat, hurts to swallow. Headache, feels like head is in a vice, pulsating pain, may have nausea or vertigo. Sensitivity to cold or weather change NITRICUM ACIDUM ( same homeopathic as above) is known to treat ailments due to the abuse of mercury as well as a general treatment for Candida. The symptoms of candidiasis, and their severity, vary from person to person but the main ones are: chronic fatigue, especially after eating, depression, craving for breads and sugars (yeast eats sugar), extreme mood swings, feelings of rage, especially after eating sugary foods, feeling " drunk " after eating a meal high in carbohydrates (candida's waste is alcohol), hypoglycemia, excessive mucous of the throat, nose, and lungs, chronic fungal infections of the skin (jock itch, athlete's foot) or vaginal/oral thrush, diarrhea, anal itching, short-term memory loss, feeling " spacy, " and bloating or gassiness after eating. The hypoglycemia, due to the Candida, mentioned in the above pharagraph is then, to complete our cirlce, treated with Chromium, or was it the skin tags that were treated? I am off to bed. Hope you all have a very blessed day, Yvonne

Guest guest
I was intrigued by Yvonne's posting regarding skin-tags, etc, however, I looked for nitricum acidum in my materia medica and could not find it. Does it have another name? Who markets it? Where would one get it? I don't recall ever seeing it in my pharmacy. Thank you Blessings Margaret You must be the change you wish to see in the world. Guest guest
Yvonne, That is nitric acid! It is a very strong corrosive acid in the pure form. I doubt you could buy it anywhere. I use to be a chemist and you have to be very careful with it. I do not know of any diluted forms available to consumers. It burns for a long time if you get any on your skin. Why they would have this in there formula is beyond me!
