I want to eat raw garlic for my health, and wondered if there is a secret to

eating it. This is only the second one I've eaten in two days and,

truthfully, I'm a tightwad out of necessity, thats why I want to eat them

fresh. So if anyone else does this, please, a little support here would be

appreciated!!! Heheh!!!

love,Elaine

Hi Elaine! No big secret, just chop it up & put it on stuff you like. I add

mine to salads, cottage cheese, or buttered pasta (real good for Type Os

<g>) .

Hi Elaine, I do eat fresh garlic every other day. I have found that every day is too much for my system. Did you know it needs to be squished just a bit before you eat it? I don't chew it, I just swallow it with a glass of water after I have cut most cloves in half and smashed them a bit between two spoons. Good luck, Patty

Pat and Lory-thanks for the ideas. I never thought of smashing them. I just figured I had to chew the garlic cloves up. Yeah, I cook with garlic a lot, plus I have Super Tonic I made last year. Now that is easy to take by the dropperful, or by whooshing on baked potatoes...don't know if it still does as much good used like that. I love garlic in most everything.

Sure do. My favorite way is to take a clove and cut it in half lengthwise. Dip it in Organic Olive Oil (Lorenzo's is the best) and down it like a pill. Works wonders ;o)
