Place the dried leaves in shallow bowls (near areas the children play or where the mosquitos are worst) to deter the rascals... ** beforehand, crunch leaves with fingers to " set off" its nice aroma. Camphor; dip a piece of flannel or sponge in camphor oil *spirits (local grocery store) and hang in room will dispose of mosquitos. Chamomile; make a strong tea of chamomile flowers.,let the infusion stand until cold., then strain off the herb and sponge the solution over the exposed areas of the body.. allow the liquid to dry. NO INSECTS will touch you. Mint; place mint sprigs about doorways, place in the sleeping quarters of the family pet., put them anywhere flies gather. Cedarwood; oil is effective against moths,flies, mosquitos. a box made with soft wood and then painted with cedarwood oil, will repel moths.
