Guest guest
Hi, Can Ian or Valorie tell me what the most important herbs to put together for the bladder and liver? Can they even be put together in a single tea? I have interstitial cystitis and also I want something for the liver as a detox or protector bec. I drink wine, etc. and bec. of a med. I now take. I was going to make 1 cup in the morning. I don't want to decoct it, but just be able to put into a tea ball or strainer. Can you help me with this please?? Thank you and have a nice day. Happy Springtime!! Love, Reneé and Jerry
Guest guest
#1. My 1st recommendation is to knock off the wine as your weak liver is suffering from a self inflicted wound here. #2. There is no easy way on this one as the liver herbs need to be decocted as some of them are tougher and need the extra drawing power of a decoction. No tea balls on this one. #3. The best Liver herbs are: Milk Thistle; Dandelion Root & Leaf; Oregon Grape Root; Gentian Root; Wormwood Leaf & Flower; Black Walnut Hulls; Ginger Root; Garlic Bulb; Fennel Seed; Cinnamon Bark; Cardamon Seed; Licorice Root Juniper Berries; Clove Buds; Uva Ursi Leaf; Burdock Root; Pau d' Arco; Horsetail Herb; Orange Peel; and Parsley Root. Hope this helps. Love, Doc Ian "Doc" Shillington N.D.505-772-5889Dr.IanShillington Hi,Can Ian or Valorie tell me what the most important herbs to put togetherfor the bladder and liver?
