Dr. Shillington,

Sorry about asking that question about the message. For a moment that

sounded so foreign to me that you could possibly smoke half a pack of cigs a

day. I am too quick to respond sometimes.

Anyway, I just got off the phone with a friend whose uncle is extremely ill

and has been to all sorts of doctors, MD's and chinese herbal, and has had

not even a diagnosis. I from my limited experience and reading would

suppose immediately that it is a parasite, but I was wondering if you could

further enlighten us.

At least on a possible course of action. The MD wants to remove his spleen

which to me sounds really dumb.

Here are his symptoms as reported to me:

swollen spleen and liver

swollen legs all the way up to his lower back

extreme pain as to make him unable to walk further than the bathroom.

He is 47 years old, Samoan.

I will give your number to him if it is OK with you.

Love,

Kristine

You need to re-read my comm, I said, "used to smoke...". Don't smoke at all now, but the point I was trying to make is that it is not easy giving up some of these things we are addicted to. One has to make a very firm committment.

As far as your friend's uncle is concerned, I would most definitely advise against having his spleen removed, but can offer no further advice as there are too many people between him and me at this time, and I have no idea about his diet, other symptoms, etc, etc, so other than to say he can definitely find a healing using natural methods, he should get himself better educated and connect up to a group like ours where he can communicate directly.

Love,

Doc
