Guest guest
A little over a year ago I had a two year old son who showed asthmatic symptoms whenever he got a cold. And he always caught every respiratory infection that we were exposed to and often became sicker than everyone else. (We have 7 children). I was afraid to go anywhere for fear that we would be exposed to something and he would struggle to breath again. The entire family seemed to get sick too easily. It was then that I read Hulda Clark's book "A Cure For All Diseases." I am not saying that I agree with everything that is in her book here, but I am writing to let you know that we decided to "deworm" our entire family. When we did this the children stopped catching everything they were exposed to, my gingivitis went away (nothing I had tried for over 12 years had worked), children stopped bedwetting and my asthmatic child no longer had any problems. In Hulda's book she links the giant roundworm to asthma and allergies. I do not think that every physical ailment is linked to parasites, but I do know that in our case worming was very effective. For a more permanent solution you might want to try this for your allergies. It is always best to get rid of the cause rather than treat the symptoms. Guest guest
We at first followed the program that Hulda Clark lays out in her book using Wormwood, Cloves and Black Walnut hull tincture. We noticed much improvement in our health but a month or so later things started going back to how they were. We sent a sample from my husband into a Ph. D. alternative medicine person and he sent back results showing that he still had a hook worm in his small intestine. He recommended that we take Pin-x. This is an over the counter wormer that you can get at Wal-Mart or any pharmacy. I looked up everything I could find on it and decided it was relatively safe. It paralyzes all round worms in the body but will not touch flukes or tapeworms. He recommended that we worm everybody once and then do it again 5 days later. We did this and the problems did not come back right away. We have found that this is something we will have to do periodically. We have animals, eat out on occasion, go to other people's houses for meals, etc, and seem to keep picking them up. Your situations may not be like ours, and we may not always need to do this. But we have 5 boys and frog ponds, they are always catching salamanders or frogs or whatever and then putting their filthy hands in their mouths, one still sucks his thumb. So for now we will have to do a worming every so often. I much prefer to use the wormwood and cloves. You do have to take like 10 wormwood capsule a day for a week and 3 cloves capsules 3 times a day for the same period. You are suppose to take 2 T of the tincture, too sometime during that week. If you have a high infestation you may need to do this several times or for a longer period of time than a week. The least expensive way to do this is to get the herb ground by the pound and buy the capsules and a capsule maker. Especially if you have the time and you have many people in your family. But if you have a high infestation you will be amazed at the difference it will make in your health. Make sure you worm your entire family. It is too easy to pass parasites on to each other. Guest guest
Is her program safe for pregnant/nursing women? What would be the youngest a child could be to participate in the deworming? Guest guest
Hulda Clark does not mention children and dosages in her book, nor does she address being pregnant and deworming. She says to do all this before you get pregnant. She shows slides of worm eggs in breast milk, sperm and saliva. She says you easily pass worms among family members. To a large extent I think she is right. When we first wormed I was nursing a six month old. Since that time I have been pregnant and am now nursing again. I used Dr. Christopher's Vermifuge (VF Syrup) for the littlest children because they really can not take capsules. It is best to give this twice a day on an empty stomach (first thing in the morning and last thing at night. And you have to do it for a month at least. It will take at least a 4 oz. bottle per child. It tastes good and the children liked it. I found pin worms on a few of my boys when I checked prior to worming the whole family. This really surprise me. With all the herbal things we tried for worming we weren't sure we had gotten rid of everything, however. So we ended up using Pin-X. This paralyzes the round worms in the body and is not suppose to be very readily absorbed. I would imagine your liver and kidneys do still have to deal with some of it though. But they also have to deal with all the toxins, etc from the worms and those parasites that are living off your body! Which is worse? The information on the Pin-X made it look pretty safe. The same chemical is used for worming cats and dogs. The flyer on the dog wormer said that they had given pregnant dogs 50 times the normal dose with no side effects. They had also given it to 1 day old puppies with no side effects. The label on the pin-X (for people) said no for children under 2 or nursing mothers without a doctor's approval. I think I used it once while pregnant and once while nursing. Our baby is very healthy and was not harmed at all by this. The wormwood is not suppose to be used during a pregnancy. Some books say it will cause uterine contractions and others say it is harmful to the baby's brain development. I didn't know this and took it one day or two days at a time periodically while pregnant. I had struggles with loose stools and gingivitis. When I saw those symptoms come back I wanted to purge those nasty things out again. This had no effect on the baby or me. I wish you could see this little girl. She is such a joy. She is my best baby. At births she weighed in at 10 1/2 lbs. and is growing like a weed. She is doing great. My personal feeling is that the worms are more harmful than the wormwood or Pin-X. But that is something for you to think about and pray about. You probably wouldn't want to do a first time cleansing with wormwood if you are pregnant because that entails several week of wormwood at high dosages. If you are pregnant now I don't know what to tell you. For children, everyone I know who has wormed, has used the Dr. Christopher formula and/or the Pin-X. We used both on our 1 year old. In addition you might be interested in knowing that with baby #3 I dried up after 10 months no matter what I did. With baby #4 I dried up after 7 months. With baby #5 I dried up after 5 months. And with baby #6 I wormed when he was around 5 months old and my milk supply was dwindling. After that I nursed until I was about 3 months pregnant with the next child and he was 9 months old. And now with baby #7 I have almost as much milk as I did with my first and I am 41!. Nothing else has really changed with our diet and if anything I am much more busy and get less rest. So it must be the worming. Annette http://www.wildernessfamilynaturals.com So, though they say to be careful, and some say it is not good to take wormwood if you are pregnant or nursing, I used it cautiously, had no problems and am reaping benefits from getting rid of those awful parasites which I have no idea how I got in the first place. - <kayte <herbal remedies > Monday, April 30, 2001 1:24 AM [herbal remedies] Re: Allergies/Asthma > Is her program safe for pregnant/nursing women? Guest guest
I just found out today that I am pregnant. Thanks for the advice...I'll read it over more and decide what to do. Guest guest
Good post Annette. This was why I added Black Walnut Hulls and Wormwood to my Intestinal Cleanse Formula. What better time to get rid of parasites then when you're cleansing? Love, Doc Ian "Doc" Shillington N.D.505-772-5889Dr.IanShillington It was then that I read Hulda Clark's book "A Cure For All Diseases."
