Guest guest
OK, I'll comment. You'll notice that the man's earlier diagnoses were astounding to his patients and he worked many cures with them as they were accurate at that time. It wasn't until he studied "conventional" medicine and tried to use cameras, lighting, etc that he ran into all kinds of problems. His excuse was that he didn't want to put up with the bad breath of the patient. He went from having all kinds of successes using Jensen's method to totally invalidating the subject of Iridology, after having studied conventional medicine and getting "more scientific" about his approach and using cameras. This is a typical way the MD allopath invalidates the Naturopath. The allopath asks, "What studies have been done?", and "Where is your Scientific proof?", rather than simply looking at results. I have a patient who 3 weeks ago had a 10 ounce, 6 inch long, 4 inch wide and 2 inch thick tumor come out of her breast. Now an allopath might ask, "How do you know that all the cancer is gone?, or Where is your scientific proof that it is gone?". Well you can simply open your eyes and look at the now bare breast wall of the rib cage and see that it's all gone or I suppose you could subject the patient to some questionable cancer causing tests to verify whether or not it is gone, but the main point I'm trying to convey here is that it is OK to simply observe what you observe and to say what you have observed. You don't have to have the OK of some MD or Scientist to have the ability to open your eyes and see what you are seeing. You just don't need his permission to do so. Personally, I think the guy bought a bill of goods and is now trying to sell the same. Guest guest
Dear Peela, What a wonderful evaluation and thanks for the news in regards Doc Jensen moving on. I knew he was in his late nineties but had not heard the word of his passing yet. He was loved by thousands as a very caring individual and natural healer. I learned much from him. I think your summation below is very accurate especially where you mention that Jensen was in essence one of the pioneers and that his technology has moved on from where he started. Doc Jensen was the first to tell someone else, “Take what I’m teaching you and carry it forward and improve on it”. ( Nor do I consider itnecessarily necessary in individual cases, butgenerally I think it is because people are sooooignorant. However there are plenty of good naturalhealers without formal scientific training).I would not consider iridology worth learning on itsown- I use it as a supportive tool along with manyother diagnostic techniques, the main one beingquestioning the person, but also intuition (veryunscientific!)I learnt Jenson iridology in my naturopathy course, however I have been to several excellent seminarswhere other methods of Iridology were taught- nonecondemning Jenson, who is very highly respected (anddied last month,in his nineties, BTW), butconsiderably expanding and introducing many newconcepts, and revising old ones. The idea of a yellowspot in the eye referring to the person having hadsulphur drugs, or a red spot referring to too manyiron pills, is long outdated and superceded, althoughthat is what Jenson taught. Drugs are much morerefined nowadays, and do not leave such obviousresidues.I have been taught also not to expect changes in theeye too much, although Jenson said they happened allthe time when people went on cleanses. Myunderstanding is they sometimes happen, but not torely on them to indicate healing. In one of my Iridology seminars (4 days)I was taughtConstitutional iridology, and that is what I feel mostcomfortable with. It teaches how to read people'sbasic constitution, their tendencies, and theiremotional nature- rather than delving into the meaningof every line and mark, although what stands out or isnoticed may be noted, and queried. As for Herbs, in Australia our main supplier isMediherb, and a more scientific company I couldnt askfor. We are constantly receiving newletters andinformation on the latest scientific research onherbs, including Pharmaceutical /herb interactions. Ieven find it a bit extreme the depth they go to- butit is necessary if Herbalism is to gain anycredibility in this modern world. Obviously history isour main teacher, and is good anough for mostherbalists- but its wonderful that science isvalidating what herbalists already knew.Sorry this is so long, but the guy is obviouslyignorant, and if he had a passion for Iridology, hecould have looked a lot further than Jenson beforegiving up on Iridology altogether- there are manyrespected lecturers and researchers around the worldwith a lot of recent information. So, theres my 2 cents worth. It does get me goingbecause he could have kept going and opened up to thevast amounts of information available, but 'stopped'instead. And people who themselves dont have muchscientific understanding may be convinced by him. lovepeela--- singular_truth wrote:> This site needs comment >http://mather.infomedia.com/reality/confessions1.html
