Guest guest
Being a cloven hoofed animal owner I am very concerned with the fmd virus. I have seen several remarks on other lists which I will ask about here. Garlic of course will help to build immunity, but what about citrus peels? Someone claims that one farm in the circle of fmd has not tested positive due to the fact that he has been broadcasting citric acid and feeding citrus peels. It was also mentioned that they were usisng moldy orange peels for antibiotic. Any insight? Thanks.
Guest guest
Sounds like good chemistry to me. You can actually throw your vitamin C caps out the window if you use citrus peels instead. They are loaded full of bioflavinoids and ascorbic acid. My chickens and my rabbit will eat oranges and orange peels and they are plenty healthy. My two cents.
