Kristie,

The real answer to any body problems is to stop doing those things that cause the problem and start doing those things that bring about and support overall health. This means improving diet, doing cleanses, getting exercise and handling any spiritual/emotional problems. Cayenne pepper, Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids and Lobelia are only a part of the answer but are specifics for what you are inquiring about.

Cayenne pepper dialates blood vessels and has been known to stop heart attacks dead in their tracks with no damage to the heart. Several dropperfuls of a good, stront cayenne tincture has been used for emergencies with very good results. A few drops of cayenne tincture in a glass of distilled water with a good sqeeze of fresh, organic lemon juice is a very tasty drink especially with ice on a hot summer day. Some people make a weak or strong tea from Cayenne and drink it.

Dr. Udo Arazamus states that a person's risk of cadiovascular problems (stroke/heart attack) is reduced by 40% just by adding his Perfected Oil Blend to your diet. The Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids apparently help the body get rid of cholesterol and do many other things to support the health of the body. Udo's oil or organic Flax Seed oil taken in quantities of 2 to 5 tablespoons a day keeps my lips from chapping and my skin from being dry and itchy.

Lobelia tincture is an anti-spasmodic and is used to stop asthma attacks. It opens bronchials and calms the body if the tincture is made right and is very potent.

What is a good thing that might help or slow down congestive heart failure...also emphysema.

I would like to add a personal account to what Valorie offered already.

My mom went into the hospital in February diagnosed with congestive heart

failure and emphysema (too many years of being sedentary and smoking like

a chimney). She was on death's door. Every day, I smuggled

in a thermos full of mullein tea (very strong at first). Within

one day of drinking this (all during the day) she was breathing better.

I also put peppermint oil under her nose. Within three days there

was noticeable improvement. She was discharged from the hospital

after four days and could breathe normally (full lung capacity).

She continued to drink the mullein tea for one more week. I just

saw her today and she looks great! Plus, she quit smoking.

My mom is 80 years old.

Hawthorne Berries! Hawthorne is the "heart" herb. It can strengthen the heart and rebuild valves. A "MUST" for anyone with a heart problem.

A funny sidenote. As they were discharging my mom, the nutritionist

came in to give her instructions on what she could and couldn't eat.

She spoke to me because I am the caretaker of my parents now.

I ended up educating this nutritionist on the evils of Canola Oil which

is on her list of "safe" oils.
