Is my fibro fog getting the best of me,(I have fibromyalgia, and brain fog is one of the lovely symptoms) Was there a recent discussion here about MSM? My other question for the doc,,,,,I think his name is Ira,if I am wrong,I am sorry. If you have an allergy to sulfa medications, can you still take MSM. Have you heard any good things about this supplement relieving fibromyalgia pain? Just because you have an allergy to sulfa meds doesn't necessarily mean you have an allergy to MSM. The chemical compositions are different. I would start off with a small dosage though as a test. Approx. 500 Mg. Another good remedy for Fibro is Echinacea. Again, you'd want to start off with a small doseage = 1 dropperful 3 times a day to see how you do. A dropperful goes about 1/2 way up the dropper.

You're welcome hon.

The echinacea will help to dead the pain somewhat, but there are better herbs for that such as Lobelia, Valerian, Hops flowers, and White Willow bark.

Remember with Echinacea, you have to take a break once in a while. No more than 3 weeks at a time with a week off. Best is a week on and a week off alternately.

Thank you so much,Ian!!!!!

Have you ever heard of Tumeric being good for fibro pain? Since I won't and can't take opiates....(I will not risk my 17 years sobriety for anything...),,,I kind of get desperate for relief.Sometimes,I lose a week's worth of work at a time, due to fibro pain and stiffness.

Yer welcome hon. I have heard that Tumeric is helpful for Fibro Pain but have not had much personal experience with using it for such. I've had much better luck with the Total Cleansing Program and an abundant use of Echinacea and Total Tonic. Lots of Garlic is helpful as well.
