(Laugh), yes you are pushing your luck ;o)

Just like your body does not have the same mineral content as mine, each egg is different.

We're not talking rocket science here, so best bet is to not get too wrapped up in significances here.

Only one more question IF you know this, and thismight be a little hard: Do you know how much mg. ofCalcium, Magnesium, and Silicon the 2 oz. of Lemon Eggmight have???? This might REALLY be pushing my luck. And it would be better if I would think of all myquestions at once. Thanks,Valerie

Few months ago, I asked "Instituto del huevo" ("Egg Institute") in Spain about the minerals in the egg shell. The answer was:

the egg shell contain:

1,6% water

3,3% protein

95,1% minerals.

From minerals total: 93,6% calcium carbonate

0,8% magnesium carbonate

0,8% phosphate "tricalcico" ( I don't know this word in english)

Calcium is un 37% from weight of the shell ( shell = 6 gr; calcium = 2,3 gr ), carbonate is 58%, Phosphor 0,35% and Magnesium 0,35%.
