Guest guest
Hello everyone, Just a short intro for me, and the answer to RD's question. I joined this list some time ago, but up to now have just watched and read. My husband and I live on a small acreage in southeast Washington state. I presently manage a non-profit musical organization made up of two symphony orchestras and a chorale which perform all over northeastern Oregon, plus I play violin in one of the orchestras. In my " spare time " (not!) I own and operate a small herbal manufacturing business, and make tinctures, salves, and teas. My husband teaches at a local community college (biology, oceanography, chemistry, physics, and geography, depending on the whim of the administration...) Dr. Christopher's " Red Clover Combination " is comprised of red clover blossoms, chaparral, licorice root, poke root, peach bark, oregon grape root, stillingia, cascara sagrada, sarsaparilla, prickly ash bark, burdock root, and buckthorn bark. His formula, according to his book " School of Natural Healing " , comprises 2 parts of the red clover blossoms, and 1 part each of the rest of the ingredients. For a one-pound batch of tea (454 grams), you would need 70 grams of red clover blossoms, and 35 grams each of everything else. Diana > rdturner > Red Clover Combination by Dr. Christopher > > Does anyone have the amount of each ingredient for his tea > combination? > I just paid $26 for a 1 # bag. I might be able to make it cheaper if I > did it myself! Thanks, RD
Guest guest
Dear Diana, Welcome out of "lurk" mode, and it's always nice to have another professional herbalist in the group. Especially another Doc Christopher fan. Love, Doc Ian "Doc" Shillington N.D.505-772-5889Dr.IanShillington Hello everyone,Just a short intro for me, and the answer to RD's question.I joined this list some time ago, but up to now have just watched and read.
