Most of the calcium, magnesium, and silicon is on the outside of the shell and there is also a chance of getting some of the ingredients from inside the egg into the mixture such as albumin etc. Even though this would not be harmful, the idea is to have an organic mineral rich mixture only. If one were to thoroughly wash the inside of the shell with fresh distilled water before using in the formula, this would handle that concern and I can see how this version would work especially if made right away after the egg has been cracked open, and before the shell had a chance to dry out.

The recipe use shells, not whole eggs. The shells are boiled because in my country there is salmonella. Is there any problem to boil the shells?

Afterwards, I cover the shells with the lemon juice. I cover the container and place it in the refrigerator.

The recipe is easy, disaster proof ;o)

Doctor, do you see any problem in this version of the lemon-egg recipe?

Thanks, in advance
