Lemon egg disaster (Ian, Gabriela, Tatjana)

Ian,

I was thinking about this yesterday myself, and now

Gabriela's saying she had a recipe using shells.

Wouldn't it be every bit as effective to only use the

shells? Not to mention disaster proof, as Gabriela

says???? Then you could use a strainer to get them out

of there. I only wonder if you should rinse the shells

first?

>The recipe use shells, not

> whole eggs....Afterwards, I cover the

> shells with the lemon juice. I cover the container

> and place it in the refrigerator. The recipe is

easy, disaster proof ;o)

I really do want to succeed at this because it sounds

good for us, but, from the sounds of it, Tatjana, our

best chance of getting the mixture down is by

camouflaging it as much as possible, the way Gabriela

suggests. I do an oddball drink in the morning, as it

already is. :o)

I add lemon-egg in my

> breakfast. My breakfast is flaxseeds ( put in water

> previous night), sunflowers seeds, two or three

> almonds, a fruit ( not citric), one lemon juice.

> Liquefy all ingredients. I prefer with banana or

> apple. Taste is good! :o)

Thanks!

Valerie

I'd definitely give that method a try, but remember to wash the shells thoroughly right after you crack 'em open to ensure there are no inner egg ingredients in the mixture and to use 'em right away.
