Potassium Broth/No Lid?????

I completely LOVE the Potassium Broth that I'm making with the Liver

Cleanse. However, today this turned into yet another confusion for me.

A friend of mine is doing a cleanse herself right now, and I asked her

if she liked the Potassium Broth. She said, " Well, not really..... " I

asked if she put too much water in maybe, and then the conversation

eventually evolved to her telling me that the directions in the

Files say NOT to cover the pot! The exclamation point is actually

there in the directions. And she said it evaporated enormously, and

she thinks that is the problem, especially because then I guess she

had to add more water. Well, of course I never saw that part, and of

course my pot had a lid on it. She said she thinks it should be

covered and that next time she is going to have it at least partially

covering it so it doesn't evaporate so much.

Is this important? Does this really matter? I love my Potassium Broth

and I think it is perfect (especially when you put more Cayenne

tincture in it), but is it somehow not doing what it's supposed to

because of the lid????

Fingers crossed,

Valerie

I know what you mean, the Potassium Broth is awesome, but the instructions are absolutely correct. There must be no lid on the broth the entire time you cook it. It is supposed to be somewhat concentrated. The only thing I can think of is that your friend had the stove on too high and had it cooking furiously. This won't work. It's got to be done at a simmer the whole way through. Too much heat will boil away all the goodies and make it too concentrated.

Love,

Ian
