I remember during the war One could not buy postum, That was my father's

favorite so he decided to make his own. He got Oats(I think) and mixed it

with molasses then put in oven to burn, Needless to say my mother was very

angry, the oven was dirty, kitchen full of smoke. She forbade him to ever

do that again. The end of this story is that it did taste like molasses.
