It is used for deep frying, but I wonder if it is any good for balm or salve making? I have never used it before. It is surprisingly cheap, for organic stuff, and it would make a nice addition to all the other oils and waxes I use. Has anyone of you used it before for skin products? I will try something to night and see how it feels. It is rather soft (melts at 42 degrees C. it says), so it doesn't need much oil to become salve-like, I think, like Shea-butter.
