Well, got an email back from Travis on large quantity pricing for his emu

oil.

His best offer is $725 for a 5 gallon container (includes shipping). This

boils down to to $18.12 for a 16oz container (not including packaging,

shipping or container). That's the equivalent of 38 16oz conainers! (if I

did the math right)

His soapmakers special is $26/16oz + 3.95 shipping and $45/32oz + $5.15

shipping. This is an on-going special.

So whaddaya'll think?

My goodness, Hope. If Travis's Emu is a good quality,

his prices are wonderful. Gentle Emu Oil Products,

which does have a wonderful quality, also has

out-of-sight prices in comparison: e.g., 8 oz. $24 and

16 oz. $42.

His is the only emu oil I've used so I can't give ya a comparison. But I did

find it a wonderful oil and have used it

in massage oil blends, creams, ointments and lotions where it added a nice

richness to the feel. And boy

howdy! A little bit goes a long way!

Its a thick oil at room temperature, whiteish even coloring with little smell.

Travis has an emu ranch in Texas so he's not just distributing it for someone

else.

HTH,

Hope

I'm sorry, but I hav eonly recentlyjoined the list, and have been using EMU

oil for a long time, but am paying two arms and a leg for it. Would you

mind reposting the information on prices/sources please?

A quick intro, I am Heather, Married, Mom of 4, and have been using herbs in

healing for a LONG long time. I recently heard the term " simpler " and

believe it fits my philosophy on herbal use, very well.
