Best is to air dry at room temperature in front of or under a fan. A stove might get too hot and above 105 degrees F. the Enzymes are destroyed.

Much love,

I searched the archives, but only found uses for paypaya and the skin. Still couldn't find anything about the seeds. Anyone know of a good website?

Does anyone know about the benefits/drawbacks to eating papaya seeds? I was looking on the internet the other day and another site said they are actually better for digestion than the papaya fruit itself. I've got some soaking (yes, doc, overnight) and was going to try them, but since I've never heard this from anyone else, I wondered if it might be dangerous in some way.

Dear Sheila,

Not dangerous at all. Go for it.

Papaya seeds and the 1/4 inch layer next to the skin, plus the skin itself of the papaya are one of the world's richest sources of enzymes.

You'll do well to use 'em ;o)

Love,

Doc
