Penny- I just talked to this guy and we have set up a meeting at his place on Feb 20th. He tells me that Bidens is the annoying plant(also called Spanish Needles) which leaves little black needles on your clothing when you brush up against it. It has tiny white daisy looking flowers, and grows everywhere all over Florida. There are many varieties of this plant all over the world. I can't wait. He told me that we have plantain, yarrow, nettles, pokeroot, mullien,St. johns wort,Bay,and others, including Uva ursi which he knows is here but has not identified yet. So ask me if I'm excited!!!! Theres a book called Pattersons Fieldguide to medicinal plants that I need to get too, he said. Yippeeee!!!!!

love,Elaine
