Finally! A question I can answer!

Habanero is a pepper (one of the hottest)

I am comparing Strauss's and Shultze's Heart Formulas,

trying to decide which to buy or make. They are quite

expensive, but if I do it myself, I'm not sure how

much to put in the Strauss formula for each of these

ingredients. Also, do I extract each one seperately

and then mix the liquid all together, or is it okay to

do them all at one time?

Wondering why Bilberry would be in the mix and what

habanero is. Any input anyone can give me about

making a formula would be appreciated.

Dear LA,

Buy the ingredients at a good Natural Health Store that does not use

Pesticides etc.,

A part is by volume (i.e 1 cup or 1 tablespoon ful)

You can use the dried or powdered variety. Fresh is always better but

sometimes hard to find.

Put them all into a Blender. Add the Vodka. blend. Pour into a glass jar.

Screw the lid on.

Put into a dark cool place and shake every day. Twice if possible. Three

times a day would be best.

Make the tincture at the New Moon .

Two weeks later (at the Full Moon), strain out the liquid into amber dropper

bottles.

Take one to three dropperfuls (36 drops) 1 to 3 times a day.,..Love Penny

(check the archives for more

sxplicit instructions)

Tincturing:-

1) On the New Moon, Put herbs into a blender.

2)Add enough vodka to cover.

3) Switch blender on for a minute or so.

4) Make sure that you have about 1/5th more vodka than the herbs.

5)Put into a sealed glass jar (one that has been well washed and has no

trace of chlorinated water - rinse it in distilled water)

6) Place in a cool dark place that you frequent two or three times a

day.

7) shake it well each time you pass.

8) At the Full moon or 14 days;-

9)Strain thru a clean organic cloth into a glass or ceramic bowl.

10) Pour into a dropper bottle (that can be bought at a chemist or a

health food store or on line at jeans greens)

Thank you Penny!

I looked at jean's site, great price for supplies.

I didn't see her offering a cloth to strain the stuff

through. Did I miss it or can you tell me what I

would use and where I might get it? I'd rather get

everything from one place, if she has them. Is there

anything else I will need to get?

Thanks,

LA
