I am sure you are already aware of this- but just in case I thought I'd post it anyway. Monsanto gained approval last yr. to plant large-scale test plots of GM cotton in India- And also a former Lobbists for Monsanto is the Consumer advocate for the U.S. Biotech Consultative forum. And in 1998 Monsanto's New Leaf potatoes accounted for 60,000 acres of the 1.37 million acres of potato planted. The thing that gets me is they created round-up and now are creating plants that are resistant to it- corn,cotton,sugar beets,grains and potatoes.
