Guest guest
Hi again! The answers to my previous questions sorted out my problems there but....... I was still wondering about tinctures. How do you tell the strength of your tinctures is it a ration of herb to solution (alcohol) or weight of herb to litres of solution or something else??? Also how do you decide on dosage rates of tinctures is it for example: 1 drop(tincture)= 1 teaspoon herb?????? I also found solvent charts could someone please explain how to use them, I have charts for dried as well as fresh herbs. All help would again be appreciated. Guest guest
A tincture is genearally 1:5 strength of an extract, although the two words are commonly interchanged.
