Guest guest
Dear Jinny, I am sorry to make a pest of myself again but if I don't ask I won't find out.........ABSOLUTELY - FIRE AWAY AND IF WE DON'T ANSWER THE FIRST TIME ASK AGAIN ALL ON THIS LIST WERE ONCE BEGINNERS.!!!! Could someone please tell me if you can use infusions, decoctions etc in place of essential oils in your recipes?....NOT QUITE SURE WHAT YOU MEAN WITH THIS QUESTION -PLEASE CLARIFY Aslo are tinctures only for internal use or can you also use them externally?.YES - ANY TINCURE CAN BE MADE INTO A POULTICE OR A " CAST " USING BENTONITE CLAY OR SLIPPERY ELM, ALSO YOU COULD USE THE INGREDIENTS FOR A TINCUTRE AS A TEA. IN SOME CASES THAT IS NECESSARY AS WATER EXTRACTS SOME INCGREDIENTS AND ALCOHOL OTHERS. Can you use infusions internally or only externally?..................INFUSIONS ARE TEAS AND CAN BE USED BOTH INTERNALLY AND EXTERNALLY AS ABOVE.A DECOCTION IS NORMALLY USED WHEN YOU HAVE A BARK OR ROOTS. LEAVES ARE USUALLY USED FOR INFUSIONS Any help would be wonderful.................JUST A LITLE PRAISE HELPS...(GRIN)....LOVE PENNY Healing to all Jinny
