Guest guest
Hello all, I have a question. But first some backround on the problem. My husband has had a bad problem with stiff necks to the point where he walks around with his head to hte side. This has been happeing for a ling time (over a year). Recently his arms went numb as well. He says they feel like they are asleep. He recently went on Prozac(2 months ago). The Doctor says that this is not a side effect. THE Dr. thought it might be bad discs (5 & 6) He had and MRI which came back fine. Now they are sending him to a nerve specialists. Any ideas on cause or treatment? ANyone expereinced this? Thanks in advance! Kathy
Guest guest
Kathy, This isn't a typical side effect of Prozac. It does should like it could be a pinched nerve or even an inflamed nerve. So, some of the nervine herbs may be helpful.Maybe SJW oil to rub on the area that is affected. Vitamin B complex may also be helpful.I also use oats in my bath which helps me some.Sorry I couldn't offer more- I am sure someone esle will be able to. Guest guest
Kathy, That happened to my husband a lot when he worked with his hands above him hanging wallpaper. When he had an adjustment from a Chiropractor, it helped a LOT. Sure beats nerve testing or surgury. Sometimes now, I massage him with infused St. John's Wort oil, which feeds the nerves as well. Hope this gives some ideas..... Jennifer Kathy Arenz wrote: > Hello all, > I have a question. But first some backround on the problem.
