Hi..

 

I'm a little embarrassed to ask, but I'm very thrown off by the different

forms of herbal supplements you can buy. I don't think I've seen anything

other than pills, oils, teas... when a recipe says to put an herb in, is it

the same as pulling open one of the capsules and letting the insides out? Or

can you buy it in loose form? What's the best form to buy them in?

 

Hope someone can get back to me on that :)

P.S. I've been fighting off a cold for a few weeks now and I was wondering

what kind of herbs i could use to help it go away (im not getting better).

I've been taking astragalus, slippery elm... started echinacea a few days ago

when i picked up a new cold (didnt have the sniffles and sneezes before; just

lost my voice), drinking ginger tea... inhaling tea tree oil... any

suggestions as to where i could go from here? id really appreciate it...
